Foma Ortho is a orthochromatic sensitized film. That means that the film can not "see" red and red areas appear dark on the film. The film is very sensitive to yellow-green and from there the sensitivity drops rapidly. Beyond 575nm (yellow, orange, red) the film has no more sensitivity. Because of this characteristic, the film is recommended for green landscapes and portraits with an expressive style.
