Fiber paper with variable contrast and green-black image tone. This can be a very good paper for lith printing; depending on batch.
This paper is on a "normal white" (that is, not a pure bleached white) double-weight paper base. Depending on the developer used, the image tone can be adjusted from slightly warm to very warm. As the Fomatone goes warmer, the image tone tends to go slightly green-ish, similar to the old Neobromide iodine-silver papers from Brünn.
The surface is glossy.
Because of it's relatively low light sensitivity and classic emulsion style, this paper is especially good for contact printing. In some lith developers, the Fomatone paper turns a brilliant red. This paper is very well suited to Lith printing and works with Easylith and Master Lith from Moersch.
