1+49 is the most famous dilution for Rodinal. After 1+24 and 1+99. Why not 1+50, 1+25 and 1+100 like on the bottle? Because a real Rondinalist likes easy to calculate dilutions and 1+49 has traditionally been used as the standard dilution of Rodinal.
Also 1+50 and 1+49 are practically the same dilution.
