Thio-Clear Eco is a washing aid, which very effectively removes fixer from papers and films and therefore shortens washing time and saves water.
Thio-Clear Eco does not contain any hazardous substances.
Washing time
You can reduce washing time by 50% compared to washing with normal water. We recommend to rinse the paper or film quickly with water before immersing into Thio-Clear.
Washing time in Thio-Clear:
RC paper and films: 1 min
Baryta paper: 2 min
After Thio-Clear do your normal washing process, but 50% shorter.
Dilution
1+19 (mix one part Thio-Clear with 19 parts water)
To make 1 litre: 50ml Thio-Clear + 950ml water
1 litre working solution can be used for 60m2 paper or 1000 35mm or 120-films.
Shelf life or working solution
Around 2 months. Because baryta paper soaks up more fixer, Thio-Clear is more contaminated by it and shelf life might be shorter.
