Moersch SE7 Bromoil is a special developer for bromoil prints.
The pH-value is low to avoid swelling-up of the gelatin of the weakly hardened bromoil papers during development. A pleasant tone (it is cold green) of the image has been neglected, because the silver is exchanged to other pigments.
Used as a second developer after a start-up lith development, the tone can be changed to warm and brown. Because of the high densities a lith developer creates in the shadows, the prints have a high image depth.
