After relatively short development times in strong lith developers, strong yellow or redish tones can be achieved with Lith Omega. Otherwise these strong tones could only be achieved with strong over exposure, high dilution of the lith developer and long developing times.
Depending on the paper used, the effect can be different.
Dilution: 1+100 to 1+500
The working solution is exhausted when the colour becomes dark red.
Processing time is around 30s to max. 4 min.
If low diluted (1+5 to 1+8) lith developers are used, the print can be put into Lith Omega before the shadows reached max. black. There the shadows appear quickly and the tone changes its colour.
At dilutions of the main lith developer of 1+10 or more, the shadows should reach max density in the lith developer. The right exposure time is found, if the shadows reach max black after 3-4 min. Middle tones and lights are then created in Lith Omega
